CANADIAN TRADES · UPDATED OCTOBER 2, 2026

Completed the job, sent the invoice, still waiting to be paid?

A good payment follow-up starts with the job record, not a generic demand. Confirm the person who approved the work, the agreed charges and the outstanding balance. If the customer accepts the bill but needs time, a clear payment choice can move the conversation forward.

What RemitRight does

You review an overdue invoice and authorize Remi to text an appropriate customer contact. The customer can pay in full or voluntarily choose 3 or 5 monthly installments, with a total 3% or 5% plan fee disclosed before checkout. There is no RemitRight business subscription, setup fee or collection commission; standard card processing fees apply.

A dispute, payment claim, wrong contact or opt-out needs review. RemitRight does not guarantee recovery or legal compliance in every province.

If the payer is another business, check its purchase-order and vendor-portal process with our B2B accounts-payable checklist. If a lien or court deadline could apply, get qualified advice promptly; a payment-plan discussion does not preserve a legal right.
