For Canadian businesses with overdue invoices
Overdue invoice collection software for Canadian businesses.
RemitRight is overdue invoice recovery software that helps you follow up by text and offer a payment plan—while keeping the conversation respectful.
No RemitRight subscription, setup fee or collection commission. Card processing fees apply, and customers choosing a plan pay a disclosed plan fee.
Review the details before authorizing customer follow-up.
Start with the right invoice.
The best starting point is an undisputed balance for work you have completed. Your customer knows the invoice, but payment has stalled or paying everything at once is difficult.
- An accurate outstanding balance and invoice reference
- A verified customer contact you are authorized to message
- A willingness to consider manageable monthly payments
When to review before sending
If the customer disputes the work, reports a payment, or says you have the wrong person, pause follow-up and check your records. Resolve the discrepancy before asking for another payment.
RemitRight does not buy your debt or provide a cash advance. Recovery depends on the customer paying; it is not guaranteed.

Add one invoice and check the details
Upload your invoice or enter it manually. Review the customer, contact information, invoice reference, due date and remaining balance. Account for any payments already received.
Create your account and connect payments
Save your work to your account, then complete the guided Stripe Connect setup so your business can accept card payments. Finish any requested verification before starting recovery.
Authorize a respectful follow-up
Confirm that the customer and invoice are correct and that you can contact them. Start Remi’s text follow-up when you are ready. Give the customer a clear reference and a way to respond.
Follow the conversation and payment progress
Review replies and payment activity in your dashboard. Customers can pay in full or choose an available plan. Check questions and discrepancies before continuing with reminders.

Before you start
What does overdue invoice recovery software do?
It helps a business follow up on an unpaid invoice and give its customer a way to pay. RemitRight uses an AI assistant called Remi for text conversations and offers payment in full or a 3- or 5-month payment plan. It does not buy the invoice, advance you money, or guarantee that a customer will pay.
Is RemitRight free for Canadian businesses?
There is no RemitRight software subscription, setup fee or collection commission. Standard card processing applies to payments. A customer who chooses a payment plan pays a 3% total convenience fee for 3 months or 5% total for 5 months. Paying in full has no RemitRight convenience fee.
Which overdue invoices are a good fit?
Start with an invoice for completed work or delivered goods where the customer agrees with the balance but has not paid. Confirm the outstanding amount, contact details and your authority to contact that customer. A disputed invoice, suspected wrong recipient or already-paid balance needs your review before further reminders.
Will uploading an invoice immediately contact my customer?
No. Review the invoice and customer details first. You need to create your account, complete payment setup and authorize customer follow-up. An uploaded document is not a substitute for checking the amount and who should receive the message.
Can RemitRight help without damaging the customer relationship?
Remi is designed for respectful follow-up and a practical next step: pay in full or consider a payment plan. Clear invoice details and room to explain a problem are more useful than pressure. If a customer disputes the invoice or says they already paid, pause follow-up and verify the facts. No service can guarantee how a customer will respond.
